As it is accustomed at THE INC conferences, at the end of the conference (during the conference dinner planned to be held on 7th June) one paper per conference pillar (tourism; hospitality; events) will be awarded as the best paper of the conference. The best paper award is held through a predefined process.
Award Process
The selection of the awarded paper per pillar follows up a three stages’ process:
•During the double blind peer review process, the selected papers should have been awarded with accept/strong accept from the reviewers (Scientific Committee Members)
•Three papers per pillar are selected is accordance with the three selection focus parameters (Methodologically innovative; Theoretically pioneering; Impactful contribution)
•Three anonymised selected papers per pillar are send to the conference keynote speakers for best paper evaluation.
Award Sponsoring
The best paper award for the tourism pillar is sponsored by CABI. Apart from the award, the winning paper will receive a £100 voucher for purchasing from CABI.
The best paper award for the hospitality pillar is sponsored by the Institute of Hospitality. Apart from the award, the winning paper will receive a £100 cash reward.
The best paper award for the events pillar is sponsored by Goodfellow publishers. Apart from the award, the winning paper will receive a £100 voucher for purchasing from Goodfellow publishers.
